How Nigerian Police reportedly shot UNIPORT student to death during protest (See Photos)

Officials of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday, 11 April 2016,  reportedly shot dead a student of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) during protest, according to one of the students. Faculty of Management Science President, Comrade Peter, was reportedly rushed

to LuLu Briggs for treatment after getting shot but did not survive the gun wound. 

The students staged the protest to express their displeasure over increase in tuition fees. They also accused the school management of deliberately ignoring the problems confronting them. The students said they are against the school’s new policy of ‘no fee, no examination.’

A witness took to social media to vent his anger. @Roland_speaks wrote: “Faculty of Management Science University of portharcourt President Comr Peter has been killed by Nigeria Police Force.” “This Government led by Buhari should be ready to kill us all.”
